Introducing Mochara Sponsored Rider: Lizzie Baugh
A slightly overdue update, but the Mochara Team are delighted to announce our latest sponsored rider, Lizzie Baugh. We have been supporting Lizzie since the end of the 2023 season, so we thought it was about time to tell you a little more about her and her string of horses.
Lizzie is a 25-year-old professional event rider based in Nottinghamshire. She represented Great Britain at the Young Rider European Championships in 2017 and 2018 on her horse ‘Quarry Man’, finishing 9th and 13th individually respectively. Lizzie has also recently been selected on to the World Class Programme’s ‘Podium Potential’ Pathway.
Lizzie studied for an Equine degree at Nottingham Trent University, and during her time there also represented the university in the BUCS equestrian team, becoming individual and team BUCS National Champion in 2018. From this, Lizzie went on the represent GB as part of the student riders’ team at a Nations Cup competition in Germany.
Lizzie is building up a fantastic string of horses across a variety of levels, with her top horse ‘B Exclusive’ (aka Buzz) currently competing at 4*L level. Buzz recently finished 6th in the CCI4*L at Bramham and won the CCI4*S at Chatsworth.
Lizzie says, ‘I am really looking forward to working with and representing Mochara, and I can’t wait to see what 2024 brings.’
We look forward to supporting and following the success of Lizzie and her team of horses throughout the 2024 season.
